Improving Indigenous health

Associate Professor Chris PerryOne Fellow making his own significant contribution to the objectives of the College on Indigenous health is Associate Professor Chris Perry. Associate Professor Perry founded the Indigenous ‘Deadly Ears’ program in 2006 because he felt not enough was being done to target ear diseases in Aboriginal communities. Since the program’s inception, Associate Professor Perry and Deadly Ears have travelled to many communities to repair ear damage and restore hearing for over 1200 children.
