EMSTAdvocacy for Digital Diagnostic Imaging Recommendations (DDIR)27 July 2010 The College has a position paper – Digital Diagnostic Imaging Guidelines (PDF 301Kb) –, which states that images used for treatment decisions and new equipment should be RACS compliant. The Digital Diagnostic Imaging Recommendations (DDIR) now constitute a benchmark for the quality of information critical for optimal patient care and should form the basis for any standards adopted by National E-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA) and subsequently the Department of Health and Aging (DoHA).
