Online Library
The Online
Library includes the full text of surgery journals, reference books
and databases, and is available to Fellows, Trainees and members of the
College. Brochures detailing online resources in each surgical specialty
are available on request.
Library catalogue
The Gordon Craig Library holds collections of current reference
books, current and historic books on Australian and New Zealand medicine
and surgery and a special collection of military surgery books. Fellows
and Trainees can use the Library Catalogue (accessed via the Online
Library page) to review, request and reserve books of interest.

Library Highlights
The library produces an email newsletter twice per year. Content
includes information on new titles and resources; both print and
online.
Literature Searches / Research Requests
The Library conducts literature searches to assist with the research
of Fellows and Trainees. Please fill out as completely as possible
either the online
form (submitted electronically) or the print
form (to be faxed or posted to us), so we can begin your search.
Videos for loan
A catalogue of Videos
for Loan (VHS format) is available. Please request these by email.
Internet training and support
Phone and email support is available to Fellows, Trainees and members
during business hours. Library staff attend specialty meetings,
registrars days and the Annual Scientific Congress to demonstrate the
online library and provide training and advice.
The Library has two computers available to Fellows and Trainees. If
you would like to learn more about using the internet for research or
recreation, the Library staff will be happy to assist you with some
friendly one-to-one training. To make an appointment, email the Library or

Gordon Craig Library
The Library is available to Fellows and Trainees as a place to rest
and relax, catch up on the latest journals and use the computers
provided to check your email or learn more, with the help of Library
staff, about the online resources now available through the Library.
