Clinical ExaminationThe emphasis of the Clinical Examination is on the application of basic science knowledge and understanding and clinical practise relevant to all forms of surgery. Trainees spend five minutes at each of 16 assessed stations. Examples of tasks include patient history taking and examination, demonstration of practical technical skill, the application of basic science knowledge, data acquisition and analysis, counselling and communication skills.
