EMST
Trauma is a major killer of young people in Australia and New Zealand. The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons has a strong history of involvement in trauma prevention. The EMST Course is a step towards a greater role for the College in setting standards of care for severely injured people. What is EMST?

Curriculum and methods are outlined in a comprehensive manual which is sent to participants six weeks prior to course commencement. Sixteen doctors participate in each course. Instruction is provided by 7 to 8 specifically-trained EMST faculty members. Register onto the waiting list.
