Australian surgeon operates 
with Timorese nursing staff  ATLASS Trainees Dr 
Joao and Dr Marcelino attend the Basic Surgical Skills course in 
Melbourne Timorese nurses 
graduate at Dili National Hospital

The Australia Timor Leste Program of Assistance for Specialist Services (ATLASS) commenced in October 2006. This program will continue to build on the achievements of the 5 year Australian East Timor Specialist Services Project (AETSSP) which commenced in 2001.
