Military Section

Purpose

The Military Section promotes the study and understanding of military surgery – past and present surgical and anaesthetic practices in the field. Working closely with the College Archives and Library, the section also helps ensure the historical material in possession of the College is maintained and utilised.

The section assists the Council on matters relevant to military surgery, including the nomination of lecturers in the field, and conducting sessions at the Annual Scientific Congress.
