Professional Development

Life long learning through professional development can improve our capabilities and help us to realise our full potential as surgeons as well as individuals. By participating in a broad range of activities, Fellows can:

• develop new knowledge and skills
• interact with peers
• gain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

All activities incorporate one or more surgical competencies detailed in the Standards and protocols section and are CPD accredited.

Activities

The 2010 program aims to support surgeons in aspects of their professional life, encouraging professional growth and workplace performance. New and improved learning opportunities are offered through the Professional Development activities.
