Morbidity audits

The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons is a leading advocate for the use of audit to improve surgical practice. Based on the success of the National Breast Cancer Audit and the Audit of Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, the RACS envisages the development of clinical audits for all surgical specialties.  The Colorectal Cancer Audit has recently been developed for the Colorectal Society.

The Morbidity Audits manager is Claire Marsh

National Breast Cancer Audit

The National Breast Cancer Audit is a quality improvement tool developed by the Breast Section with the aim of improving the surgical care and management of all women and men with early breast cancer in Australia and New Zealand through the careful collection and analysis of audit data and the application of a full cycle of clinical audit.

The National Breast Cancer Audit is managed by Claire Marsh

The contact person for the National Breast Cancer help desk is Joanne Chesson
