Governance & Advocacy Committee
BackgroundThe Governance and Articles Working Party (GAWP) was established in June 2003 by Council to provide a forum to discuss and make recommendations for change to Council on its governance structures and processes. This work is ongoing and consequently a standing committee, the Governance and Articles Committee (GAC), was formed. In 2008, Council approved the further development of GAC:
The name of the committee was altered to the Governance and Advocacy Committee in acknowledgement of its expanded role.
