The Find a Surgeon directory is a listing of active Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons who meet the requirements of the College's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program and have opted to be on the list. This list excludes retired or inactive Fellows.

 

The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and interested persons who are not surgeons to become members of the specialty training boards, which have the delegated authority to regulate training within the relevant specialty.

An external member is also sought for the Board of Surgical Education and Training (BSET), which the specialty training boards report to and also to the committee which assesses International Medical Graduates (IMGs) with a surgical qualification for comparability to the Australian and New Zealand standards of surgical competence.

Expressions of interest are invited from interested persons, irrespective of residential locations.  Boards usually meet face to face three (3) times per year, with some additional meetings and/or teleconferences as required. This is a voluntary position with expenses reimbursed.
