The parent bodies have delegated to the conjoint
committee powers to formulate training guidelines in Peripheral
Endovascular Therapy (PET) and to assess the training of people
seeking recognition of their training in this area.

The conjoint committee recognises training of
endoscopists who have completed their training in Australia or who
are now practising in Australia.

The Faculty of Pain Medicine is the body
responsible for training, education and standards for Pain Medicine
in Australia and New Zealand. The faculty offers a Fellowship in
Pain Medicine, which is available to all Fellows of the
College.
