What will you learn?
This whole day workshop is divided into two parts. Part one
gives an overview of basic strategic planning and provides a broad
understanding of the link between strategy and financial health or
wealth creation. It introduces a set of practical tools to monitor
the implementation of strategies to ensure their success. There is
also an introduction to a committee's and board's role in risk
oversight and monitoring. Part two of the course focuses on setting
strategy; formulating a strategic plan, the strategic planning
process, identifying and achieving strategic goals, monitoring
performance, and contributing to an analysis of strategic risk. You
will have an opportunity to explore risk for an organisation and
learn how to monitor and assess risk using practical tools.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
This educational activity has been approved in the College's CPD
Program. Fellows who participate can claim 1 point per hour
(maximum of 6 points) in Category 4 - Maintenance of Knowledge
and Skills. For those with a RACS CPD requirement this activity
will be automatically uploaded to your record.
