- It offers a unique opportunity for a group of Fellows to share ideas and experiences and debate issues that affect their professional and personal lives.
- It is intended to acknowledge and encourage the contribution of Younger Fellows to RACS. It also serves to provide an avenue for Younger Fellows to have a voice in and engage with RACS.
- It provides an opportunity for extensive discussion on "hot College topics" and time to relax, get to know other Younger Fellows and participate in team building activities to challenge the body and mind.
- It empowers participants to influence the way RACS serves its Fellowship and the community, either as individuals or collectively.
Is this course right for me?
All Younger Fellows are invited to nominate for the YFF. Airport transfers, accommodation, meals and all activities at the Forum are covered by RACS. Participants must finance their own flights to meet the transfers. Although families are a great support, please note this forum will be a delegate only activity.
This two and a half day course is delivered face-to-face by RACS Fellows and invited speakers.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points
As RACS transitions towards a new and innovative CPD framework, there will be specific CPD activities that Fellows will be asked to undertake between January and June 2021. During this time, other education activities will not be recognised for CPD points, however we encourage Fellows to continue to participate in education activities relevant to their scope of practice and learning needs.
For Fellows who undertook this activity prior to 31 December 2020, CPD was allocated at one point per hour.
