Arriving at the venue
Candidates need to arrive at each segment at least 15 minutes prior to their start time. Signage will be posted and marshalls will provide guidance on where to register and wait.
Car parking cannot be guaranteed, so candidates are advised to travel either by public transport or taxi. Please allow plenty of time to travel to the exam venue, as late candidates may not be able to be accommodated. If a candidate is running late, they should contact the Examinations Department as soon as possible.
What to bring
Candidates will need to bring photo identification to each segment. A candidate number badge will be provided at the first viva segment and should be brought along to each subsequent segment.
On arrival, marshals will register candidates and securely store all watches, phones, tablets and other electronic devices. The marshals will also guide candidates to pre-exam waiting areas.
Depending on order of presenting for any segment, a candidate may be required to remain in quarantine until the last rotation of candidates has commenced the segment. This will be indicated on the timetable. Following this, all electronic items are returned and candidates are free to leave.
No catering is not provided, but candidates may bring their own food to eat in the quarantine area. Tea, coffee, water and biscuits will be available for candidates.
No rooms are provided for candidates at hospital venues between segments examined on the same day.
