The event marks a return to Singapore, where our two Colleges previously came together for a combined congress in 2014.
We are now seeking expressions of interest from Fellows to serve as Section Conveners for the combined congress.
Why convene?
Opportunities to shape a combined RACS-ANZCA program don’t come along often. In 2028 conveners will build sessions that speak across the surgical-anaesthesia interface.
What the role involves
As a Section Convener, you will curate your section's scientific program, including:
• propose session themes and formats for your section
• nominate keynote and invited speakers
• identify opportunities for combined surgical-anaesthetic sessions and cross-section collaboration
• review abstract submissions relevant to your section.
Who we're looking for
Fellows with an active interest in their specialty's scientific direction, an eye for emerging talent and topics, and enthusiasm for cross-College collaboration. Prior convening experience is welcome but not essential.
