Dr Adeeb Majid

Overview

Dr. Adeeb Majid is a specialist Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic and General Surgeon, a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), a member of the Australia and New Zealand Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Association (ANZHPBA), and is accredited with the Gastrointestinal  Enterological Society of Australia (GESA) for performing gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

Dr. Majid completed his general surgical training at John Hunter Hospital Newcastle and did three years of specialist Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery Training with the ANZHPBA in Sydney and Adelaide.

He has gained experience in liver surgery at Seoul (South Korea) and Pancreatic surgery in Germany.

He has been paracticing in Newcastle (NSW) since 2013 and is a high volume Liver and Pancreatic surgeon.

He also performs bariatric surgery and surgery for advanced mealnoma and is attached to the Newcastle melanoma unit.

Dr Majid has special interest in surgery of liver, gall bladder, pancreas and stomach.

He also held an appointment with the University of Newcastle as a Senior Lecturer in Surgery.

He provides services for all Public and private  patients at the Calvary Mater Hospital, John Hunter Hospital all  Private hospitals in Newcastle
