This scholarship was established from a generous donation from the estate of the late Gloria Joyce Kees to support medical research and/or the advancement of surgical technologies, techniques and treatments.

Who can apply?

RACS Fellows and Trainees.

SET applicants are eligible to apply for a scholarship in anticipation of their acceptance into the SET Program. Evidence of acceptance into the program must be received by the ANZ Scholarship and Grant Coordinator by November in the year before the award commences in order to be eligible.


RACS Fellows must have obtained their Fellowship within five years of application.

$66,000 ($60,000 stipend plus $6,000 departmental maintenance).
