This scholarship was established to support Trainees and Fellows, resident in New Zealand, who wish to take time away from clinical positions to undertake a research project.
Who can apply?
RACS Fellows and Trainees.
SET applicants are eligible to apply for a scholarship in anticipation of their acceptance into the SET Program. Evidence of acceptance into the program must be received by the ANZ Scholarship and Grant Coordinator by November in the year before the award commences in order to be eligible.
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens currently residing in New Zealand and must be enrolled in or intending to enrol in a higher degree.

$66,000 ($60,000 stipend plus $6,000 departmental maintenance); research departments will be expected to provide 25 per cent of the funding.

Midnight ACST Tuesday 14 April 2020
Applicants will be notified of the outcome in early August 2020.
No late applications will be accepted.
