Mr Gordon Pickard is a strong supporter of robotic surgery in South Australia and wishes to provide training opportunities to South Australian surgeons as well as to non-surgeons to expand expertise in innovative robotic techniques.
Who can apply?
RACS Fellows and Trainees as well as other surgeons and non-surgeons who are undertaking robotic surgical training and/or research.
To be eligible, you are required to reside in South Australia or have a clear contractual commitment to the South Australian public hospital system for two years immediately following the conclusion of the scholarship.

A total of $100,000 will be awarded to approximately three to five applicants.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome in early August 2020.
