The Research Scholarship in Military Surgery is offered through the Military Section of the College and is part of an International Surgical Exchange with the United States of America.
Funded by the American Department of Defense, it has been established for the scholarship recipient to work on Combat Casualty Care Resuscitation Research with the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (USUHS), Maryland.
Who can apply?
RACS Fellows and current Trainees. Applicants must be a permanent resident of and hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship. Preference will be given to serving members of the Australian Defence Force.
Please note that this scholarship is not available to SET applicants.

Midnight ACST Tuesday 14 April 2020
Applicants will be notified of the outcome in early August 2020.
No late applications will be accepted.
Please note that this award has not been offered for 2021. This will be reviewed for 2022.
