Have a say in your College's decision making!

Fellows are invited to consider nominating for election to the College Council.

As a member of Council you become a company director with fiduciary responsibility to act in the best interests of the Fellowship as a whole.

Training by the Australian Institute of Company Directors is provided. You would need to make a meeting commitment of three days three times a year at the end of February, June and October. Your three year term of office would commence at the AGM on 10 May 2018.

Nominations open on Friday 18 August and close Friday 1 September 2017.

You will receive an email on Friday 18 August with a link to enable you to complete your nomination form.

Submission of your nomination form, including supporting statement and photograph, is done online.

To complete the online nomination, candidates are required to:

  • Contact two other Fellows who agree to support their nomination
  • Provide the names and email addresses of their two supporters
  • Upload information about themselves and a recent photograph
  • Declare there are no restrictions or conditions placed on their practice by any regulatory authority
  • Declare their scope of practice has not been limited or credentialing restricted as a sanction or disciplinary action by any hospital where they practise or have practised within the last five years.

If you agree to support a candidate, you will receive a subsequent email with a link for you to submit your brief supporting statement. You are asked to respond promptly.
