Find a surgeon

The Find a Surgeon directory is a listing of active Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons who meet the requirements of the College's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program and have opted to be on the list. This list excludes retired or inactive Fellows.

 

Selection into Surgical Education and Training (SET)

Selection into SET is a competitive processs; applications are scored and applicants with the highest scores are offered places in the SET program. The steps in the SET application process are:

  1. Check your eligibility to apply to the specialty or specialties that you are interested in.
  2. Register your intention to apply.
  3. Submit an application to one or more surgical specialties (the online application comprises a structured CV and Referee Report requirements).
  4. Participate in interviews if shortlisted.
  5. New Zealand offers are announced in June and Australian offers are announced in July.
