June 2019 Clinical Examination Registrations

Due to changes to the Clinical Exam, from June 2019, places available to present for the exam will be extremely limited and we are expecting to reach capacity. Registrations for the CE will now be staggered, according to the priority assigned to the candidate:

  • Tier 1 candidates: registrations open midday (AEDT) on Wednesday 6 March 2019 until midday (AEDT) Wednesday 3 April 2019
  • Tier 2 candidates: registrations open midday (AEDT) on Wednesday 13 March 2019 until midday (AEDT) Wednesday 3 April 2019
  • Tier 3 & 4 candidates: While it is difficult for us to predict candidate numbers, unfortunately it is unlikely there will be capacity for Tiers 3 & 4 candidates in the June 2019 CE, however we expect there to be capacity in the October 2019 CE. Please check back here for updates or contact the Examinations Department for any enquiries.

Travel Arrangements for Clinical Examinations

It is recommended to wait to make any travel arrangements until your examination venue and time has been confirmed in your venue notice (emailed to all candidates approximately three weeks after examination registration closes).

Conduct of Examinations policies

Please be aware the policy governing your exam may have been updated and are now available for review here. The Withdrawal and Refunds clause in each policy is the most significant of these changes. Please note that 100% refunds are no longer available, even if you withdraw prior to the closing date. This change has been made to bring these policies into line with RACS' refund policies across all departments and reflects the administrative work involved in processing withdrawals and refunds.

Opening and Closing Dates

Please note that opening and closing dates will vary for each examination. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they are aware of the correct dates for the examination(s) they are applying for.

Please see the Exam Dates and Locations page for details and dates.

Applications will open and close at 12.00pm (noon) Melbourne time on the specified day. Late registrations will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Confirmation of Registration

Candidates should receive an acknowledgement email within 5-10 minutes of registering. If this is not received, please contact the Examinations Department as soon as possible.

It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they have successfully registered for the examination.

Payment is required in full at the time of registering for the exam. Applicants must ensure that funds for the full examination fee are available on the credit card supplied as this will be charged immediately. No other payment options are available
