The Johnson&Johnson haemostasis workshop is now full.

To all those who were successfully selected into Surgical Education and Training (SET) with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), we say congratulations! We are very excited to welcome you to your Trainees' Association and invite you to the annual Induction Conference.

Surgical Training is a challenging and rewarding time. The SET program you enter is highly regarded internationally, and continues to improve and evolve each year. We want to ease you into training with maximum inspiration and minimum confusion, and we have designed the 2018 Induction Conference to help you with your transition. 

This conference (Saturday 27 October 2018) has been specifically designed to meet the needs of newly selected SET Trainees. You will be oriented by RACS Fellows, staff and senior Trainees, and receive insights from RACS leaders, with plenty of time to meet and socialise with your new colleagues. New Trainees will leave this conference equipped with the knowledge and confidence to succeed in surgical training.

The Johnson&Johnson haemostasis workshop is now full.

The induction conference this year will also include a half day haemostasis workshop, sponsored by Johnson&Johnson at no extra cost to participants. This limited numbers workshop will include tutorials on coagulation as well as provide a hands on opportunity to use various haemostatic agents. It will be held the day after the conference (Sunday 28 October 2018)
