To all those who were successfully selected into Surgical Education and Training (SET) with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), we say congratulations! We are very excited to welcome you to your Trainees' Association and invite you to the annual Induction Conference.

Surgical Training is a challenging and rewarding time. The SET program you enter is highly regarded internationally, and continues to improve and evolve each year. We want to ease you into training with maximum inspiration and minimum confusion, and we have designed the 2018 Induction Conference to help you with your transition. 

This conference has been specifically designed to meet the needs of newly selected SET Trainees. You will be oriented by RACS Fellows, staff and senior Trainees, and receive insights from RACS leaders, with plenty of time to meet and socialise with your new colleagues. New Trainees will leave this conference equipped with the knowledge and confidence to succeed in surgical training.

Theme

This conference is designed to facilitate new Trainees entry onto the Training program to optimise their training experience by providing guidelines and practical support in the following sessions:

  • Enrich your SET Program
