CCrISP® teaches doctors to adopt a structured and comprehensive approach to managing surgical patients, to recognise the deteriorating patient and determine which patients are most at risk.
The CCrISP® course:
- runs over three days
- is conducted for 16 participants
- is taught by a multidisciplinary faculty of 10 specialists (volunteers)
- is highly interactive and includes skills stations and clinical scenarios
- is assessed (successful completion required to achieve certification).
- By completing this course, you will be able to:
- adopt a structured, comprehensive approach to managing surgical patients
- judge which patients are at most risk and plan to reduce their risk of adverse outcomes
- recognise the deteriorating patient and intervene to correct the problem
- acknowledge the importance of communication in managing surgical patients
Target audience
All doctors that care for critically unwell patients, post graduate year 3 or more.
