How to renew accreditation

Accreditation is valid for two years from the date of
Education providers will receive notification 90 days prior to
the expiration of their accreditation and will be asked to login to
Portal to submit evidence of ongoing quality assurance i.e.
- Changes, which affect the learning outcomes of accredited
- Participant evaluation/feedback summary
- Course certificate
- Latest course program/syllabus
- Changes to any regulatory agreements
- Copy of current promotional material i.e. flyer, brochure
and/or link to website
If the above information is not provided prior to the expiration
of accreditation, reference to the course will be removed from the
RACS website. The provider must also remove all references to RACS
from the course outline, as well as cease to promote or list their
course using the RACS accreditation logo.
No fees apply for renewal of accreditation.
All applications will be reviewed by the Accreditation Review
Panel to ensure that all courses/activities meet the required
educational standards and criteria, and to verify that the teaching
methods, learning aims and outcomes are sound. All accreditation
approvals are ratified by the RACS Education Board.
RACS aims to complete course/activity accreditation approvals
within eight weeks. Please note, if your application is incomplete
i.e. missing the requested supporting documentation, this will
delay the approval turnaround time.
