Find a surgeon

The Find a Surgeon directory is a listing of active Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons who meet the requirements of the College's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program and have opted to be on the list. This list excludes retired or inactive Fellows.

Younger Fellows are surgeons in their first 10 years post Fellowship qualification. There are services available specifically for Younger Fellows who are encouraged to participate in the activities, governance and development of the College.

There are more than 1500 Younger Fellows of the College, who are supported by the Younger Fellows Committee with representatives from all regions of Australasia.


Younger Fellows Forum

The YFF is a College-funded annual retreat drawing Younger Fellows  together to discuss and debate relevant issues. It offers a unique opportunity for a group of Fellows to share ideas and experiences and debate issues that affect their professional and personal lives.

In May 2019, the Forum will be held in Bangkok. Applications are now being accepted. Further information including how to apply.

In May 2018, the Forum was held in the Blue Mountains prior to the Annual Scientific Congress.

In May 2017, the Forum was held at Mount Lofty House, Adelaide Hills prior to the Annual Scientific Congress.

In May 2015, the Younger Fellows Forum was held at Bunker Bay, WA in the weekend prior to the Annual Scientific Congress. Read further information on the 2015 Forum.


Younger Fellows Mentoring Program


The Younger Fellows Committee have developed a facilitated mentoring program open to all Fellows of the college within their first 10 years of gaining Fellowship.

Younger Fellows at the ASC

Younger Fellows Leadership Exchange


The Younger Fellows Leadership Exchange is an exchange program between the College and the Association for Academic Surgery in the US. Information on the Exchange including how to apply can be found at this link.
