Tour de Cure is an Australian charity, entirely dedicated to raising funds for research into curing and preventing cancer. Through it's cycling tours and events across Australia, Tour de Cure raises funds for cancer research, support and prevention projects. Together with the Foundation for Surgery, Tour de Cure has generously offered to fund the prestigious Tour de Cure Cancer Research Scholarship.

Who can apply

Applications for this Scholarship are open to RACS Fellows and Trainees, conditional on the applicant being a permanent resident or citizen of Australia or New Zealand, or an International Medical Graduate (IMG) accepted into RACS as a Trainee.

The Gross value of this scholarship is $125,000 ($112,500 stipend plus $12,500 department maintenance).  The successful applicant will be required to procure $25,000 of this amount from their research department, with RACS funding $100,000.
