Medical student Renata Pajtak has won a prize for her essay 'Reasons to choose
a career in surgery' (PDF 44KB) at the Royal Australasian
College of Surgeons ACT Annual Scientific Meeting on Saturday 4
November at the ANU Medical School.
The prize was introduced by the RACS ACT Committee in honour of
Professor Noel Tait, former Sub Dean of the ANU Medical School, and
is intended to engage medical students and encourage their
development in medicine.
Professor Tait has made a significant contribution to medical
education in the ACT and was involved in the establishment of the
ANU Medical School.
