Dr Bhavesh Patel

Overview

Dr Bhavesh Patel brings expertise in the areas of paediatric and neonatal surgery, paediatric urology, burns and trauma surgery. He performs minimally invasive surgery (thoracoscopy and laparoscopy).

He holds appointments at Queensland Children's Hospital, Taylor Medical Centre, Mater Children's Private Brisbane, Mater Mothers Hospital, Wesley Hospital, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Nambour Selangor Private Hospital and Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.

As a keen teacher Dr Patel is a supervisor of surgical training, a senior lecturer with the University of Queensland Medical School. He is the surgical champion for the NSQIP program at QCH.
