Professor Eric Chung

Overview

Professor Eric Chung is a consultant urological surgeon at the AndroUrology Centre for Sexual, Urinary and Reproductive Excellence and holds academic appointments at the following universities- University of Queensland (Brisbane, Australia) and Macquarie University Hospital (Sydney, Australia). He holds numerous executive positions in various organisations including current Chair for the male LUTS and past Chair of the Andrology group in the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ); Secretary-General for the Asia Pacific Society of Sexual Medicine (APSSM); and member-at-large for the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM). He serves on various national advisory bodies and guideline taskforces. Professor Chung is recognised as one of the international leading surgeon expert in the field of urinary and male sexual dysfunctions and male reproduction. He has been invited to speak and operate at many national and international meetings, and mentored many surgeons on various surgical techniques pertaining to urinary and penile reconstruction and prosthesis surgery. He runs an active clinical trial unit, and has authored more than 180 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters.
