Dr Hajir Nabi

Overview

Dr Hajir Nabi is a Brisbane colorectal surgeon whose scope of practice and areas of interest include: colorectal cancer and polyps, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), and anorectal disorders (including haemorrhoids, fissures and perianal fistulas). He performs laparoscopic and minimally-invasive surgery. He also performs colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures (GESA accredited).

Dr Nabi completed his general surgical training in South Australia through the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre- achieving his fellowship in general surgery- FRACS. He then completed further colorectal specific post-fellowship training in Adelaide, Sydney and Perth. He is a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ).

He has diverse research interests which include varied aspects of colorectal surgery and surgical education. He has been widely published and has presented at national and international meetings.
