Mr Ilan Freedman

Overview

Mr Ilan Freedman is a dual-fellowship trained Melbourne Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialist interest in Direct Anterior Minimally Invasive Hip Replacement,  Hip Arthroscopy, and Patient-specific Knee Replacement. Mr Freedman also performs Sports Hip Surgery, Joint Preservation Surgery, and Computer Navigated Hip and Knee Joint Replacement. Mr Freedman also manages orthopaedic trauma and musculoskeletal emergencies.

After completing Orthopaedic Surgery training in Melbourne, Mr Freedman undertook a prestigious International Hip Preservation Surgery Fellowships in the UK and the a second fellowship in Minimally Invasive Direct Anterior Hip Replacement in Paris. Mr Freedman is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
