Audit of Endoluminal Repair of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms
The Australian Audit of Endoluminal Repair of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms was a longitudinal review of the mid-to long-term safety and effectiveness of the endovascular graft within the Australian setting.
Data collection ran from 1 November 1999 to 15 August 2008.
The Endovascular Aneurysm Repair Risk Assessment (ERA) model
As a result of the audit, a workbook which predicts success rates of endovascular aneurysm repair for patients was developed. Surgeons enter the preoperative patient variables (for example, age, gender, creatinine) and can predict patients success (for example, survival, ruptures). This workbook was last updated January 2009.
