2025 | Volume 26 | Issue 5
As surgeons and health care professionals, you see first-hand how trauma affects people in complex and often life-altering ways. Whether it’s a single severe incident or the cumulative impact of repeated minor injuries, the consequences, especially for the brain, can be profound.
Join us for the 2025 Trauma Symposium on 21 and 22 November to explore the full spectrum of brain injury, from acute trauma to chronic concussion syndromes. Held over two days, the event brings together leading voices from surgery, emergency medicine, intensive care, nursing, rehabilitation, and allied health across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
This multidisciplinary gathering offers a holistic view of trauma care, with sessions focused on mechanisms of injury, current treatment approaches, and emerging technology and research. Attendees will gain practical insights they can apply immediately in clinical settings.
