This year, our state, territory, and Aotearoa New Zealand committees are hosting an exciting lineup of Annual Scientific Meetings (ASMs) and surgical conferences.

These events are a great opportunity to connect, reflect, and share knowledge. They bring together surgeons from various RACS specialties, along with key health leaders and experts from across our countries. Each meeting highlights current issues that matter—not just to the surgical profession, but to the broader workforce and community as well.

Here's a quick look at some of the featured topics:

  • Surgeon Health and Women in Training (Tristate ASM)
  • Dealing with Mistakes (Aotearoa New Zealand)
  • Cutting-edge advancements transforming surgical practice from artificial intelligence (Queensland).

Our venues include the iconic Adelaide Oval, the halls of the Aotearoa New Zealand Parliament, to the elegant Peppers Silo in Launceston, and the stylish Rydge’s Southbank.
