Dr Benjamin Dixon

Overview

Dr Ben Dixon is a Otolaryngology (ENT), Head and Neck Surgeon specialising in tumours/ cancer. He practices as a consultant surgeon at Epworth Richmond and St Vincents Hospital, Melbourne. He completed a two year fellowship at the world renowned Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Toronto General Hospital in Canada. During this time he furthered his training in head and neck cancer surgery, endoscopic skull base surgery and microvascular reconstruction.

His PhD studies focussed on surgeon-computer interface design and he maintains a strong academic interest in computer-assisted surgery. He integrates the latest in surgical technology into his practice where appropriate.

His main areas of interest and expertise are: throat cancer including transoral robotic surgery; thyroid surgery; parotid surgery; endoscopic skull base and sinus surgery.
