Dr Stephen Mills

Overview

Dr Mills is a New Zealand trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. After completing felowships in the United kingdom and Australia he returnede to a consultant surgeon position in 1999 to Middlemore Hospital, Auckland New Zealand.

He was instrumental in setting up the National Burns Centre of New Zealand and was an integral part of the Breast Reconstruction team. As a consultant he also  treated Melanoma and Non melanoma Skin Cancer as well as undertaking general reconstruction.

Outside of the hospital setting he was on the Medical Advisory Committee of the Breast Cancer Foundation for a decade, serving 2 years as chairman.

Dr Mills began private practice in 2003 nad after 17 years in the public sector  went onto fulltime private practice. His Private practice has as emphasis on Cosmetic Surgery, surgical and non surical management of Skin cancer and Melanoma and breast reconstruction.
