Dr Tae Cho

Overview

Dr Cho is a qualified vascular surgeon with a particular interest in endovascular and minimally invasive surgery. He completed his medical training at University of New South wales prior to receiving his Fellowship in Vascular Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. During his training, he had the opportunity to work abroad at prestigious university teaching hospitals including Singapore General and Oxford University hospitals in the UK.

 

Dr Cho is currently a VMO at Westmead hospital and holds appointments at Westmead Private, Blacktown and Auburn hospitals. His specialty is in minimally invasive aortic surgery, and holds the position of Medtronic Proctor for their aortic stent grafts Australia wide and in Asia. He also specializes in the surveillance and endovascular maintenance of dialysis access, successfully preventing unnecessary placements of dialysis catheters in patients with chronic renal failure. He is part of the team that heads up the Westmead multidisciplinary ulcer/high risk foot clinic.
