Conflict and You

Most of us avoid conflict at all costs, but the potential for conflict is everywhere in our increasingly stressful cost-driven healthcare system. Conflict arises with executive leaders, administrators, colleagues, nursing staff, and other professionals, draining the energy we’d prefer to direct into creating better outcomes. Conflict and You provides skills to transform conflict for positive outcomes and avoid more damage.

Conflict and You is an introductory course that explores the effects of conflict on patient care and workforce satisfaction and offers smart strategies to ‘stand up and stay cool’ in conflict. Prior you will complete a pre-session questionnaire that provides an individualised report about our contribution to conflict and explores how to lead ourselves and others out of conflict.

Please note if you have completed Leading out of Drama, you do not need to complete Conflict and You, as the content from this course is covered in Leading out of Drama. If you do opt to complete Leading out of Drama after completing this course, it is recommended that you wait at least 6 months before enrolling.
