Dr Thomas Clifton

Overview

Mr Clifton is a subspecialist shoulder and upper limb orthopaedic surgeon.

He completed his orthopaedic training in Perth, finishing top of his national class in the fellowship exam and was elected president of the Australian Orthopaedic Registrar Association. He is currently completing his second upper limb fellowship at the world renowned Wrightington hospital in the United Kingdom. 

He has a special interest in sporting injuries of the upper limb and arthritis management, including shoulder and elbow replacement, revision replacement, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and surgery for dislocation of the shoulder. 

He will return to Perth in August 2024 to establish his practice at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and privately at Perth Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine (POSM).
