Dr James Chen

Overview

Dr Chen is a consultant Urologist who has special interests in robotic and reconstructive surgery. After completion of his Urological training in Western Australia, he moved to Sydney and worked with leading Urologists at Liverpool Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he undertook further training in robotic surgery for prostate and kidney cancer. Subsequently he undertook post-fellowship training with the world-class Urology unit at Concord Hospital where he gained sub-specialised reconstructive Urology skills and functional Urology experience. Prior to returning home to Perth, he worked as a consultant Urologist at Liverpool Hospital and Campbelltown Private Hospital. He currently holds appointments at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, St John of God Subiaco Hospital, Bethesda Hospital and consults from 4 Antony Healthcare, Palmyra. Outside of work, he enjoys sampling new food, travelling, table tennis and windsurfing.
