Dr Hajir Nabi
Dr Hajir Nabi is a Brisbane colorectal surgeon whose scope of practice and areas of interest include: colorectal cancer and polyps, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), anorectal disorders including haemorrhoids, fissures and perianal fistulas, laparoscopic and minimally-invasive surgery, colonoscopy and endoscopy.
Dr Nabi completed his general surgical training in South Australia through the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre. He then completed further colorectal specific post-fellowship training in Adelaide, Sydney and Perth.
Dr Nabi has public appointments at the Mater Hospital and Logan Hospital and is also employed by the University of Queensland as a senior lecturer. He has diverse research interests which include varied aspects of colorectal surgery and surgical education. He has been widely published and has presented at national and international meetings.
He consults privately through the Specialist Services Medical Group located in St Andrew’s and The Wesley hospitals and operates privately at both hospitals.
