Overview

Having practiced and developed laparoscopic General Surgery since its inception in the late 1980s I retired from full time academic and clinical practice in June 2023. My practice is now as a consultant surgeon locum or assisting my colleagues in their private surgical practice. Following nearly two decades of teaching surgery in India I am proud to have been made an Honorary Fellow of the Association of Surgeons of India in December, 2022.
