Continence Matters is a sub-specialty practice in Female Urology, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery including incontinence, prolapse surgery, neurogenic bladder, and fluoroscopic urodynamics.
We also provide a streamlined fast-track cystoscopy service. We are conveniently located on the Ground Floor of Calvary North Adelaide Hopsital, 89 Strangways Terrance, with disabled access.

Established in 2002 by Dr Samantha Pillay OAM, Continence Matters brings care and treatment to men, women and children with disabling bladder conditions and a wider acceptance and understanding of these conditions by the community. Dr Joy OHazy OAM, Continence GP joined Continenec Matters in 2014.
Dr Pillay provides:
- Comprehensive evaluation with Fluoroscopic Urodynamics.
- Specialist Urology Assessment of all male and female bladder and voiding problems, incontinence, and prolapse.
- Management of complex incontinence cases, including complications from or failed previous surgery and complications from mesh slings.
- Surgical and Non-Surgical Treatment Options.
- Autologous fascial slings (no mesh) for surgical treatment for Stress Urinary Incontinence. She is also able to discuss other treatment options, including injectable urethral bulking agents and the pros and cons of mesh mid-urethral slings (tapes).
- Surgical treatment options for Overactive Bladder include onaBotulinumtoxinA (Botox) injections and sacral neuromodulation.
In her spare time she write children's books to inspire young girls and is the founder of AIFilm4Good - the world's first film studio for social impact.
