Dr Travis Leahy
Overview
Travis Leahy is an Australian trained Otolaryngology, Head and Neck surgeon. He completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Melbourne University in 2004. After a brief stint in the banking world he then went on to study Medicine at Notre Dame University Western Australia, graduating in 2009.
During his Surgical training in both Victoria and Western Australia he was successful in being accepted to The University of Oxford in England where he studied for two years as part of their Masters of Surgery program. He gained Fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons by completing his advanced training in Otolaryngology, head and neck surgery in 2019 and has completed further advanced training in Laryngology – Voice, airway and Swallowing disorders in Melbourne.
Having grown up in rural New South Wales, Travis is passionate about the delivery of medical services to regional areas. He is a regular visiting surgeon to his home town of Albury as well as working in rural Western Australia.
Travis has an interest in general adult and paediatric ENT conditions, disorders of voice and swallow, minimally invasive nose and sinus surgery, snoring and sleep surgery as well as Head & Neck oncology. He has a public appointment at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
When not working hard for his patients, Travis is a dedicated father to four young daughters and along with his wife Lydia, understands first hand the many challenges of parenthood.
