RACS is monitoring the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19). We have established a management working group to ensure that we are providing updates on how it may impact on gatherings and meetings such as training sessions and conferences.
Our priority is the health and safety of our Fellows, Trainees, International Medical Graduates and staff, and we will comply with any advice or instruction from our governments.
We are engaging with groups within the health sector to inform our response and closely monitoring advice from relevant government departments.
If you are travelling please check your insurance cover carefully. Many insurers have exemptions for infectious diseases and pandemics, but the policies are different for each insurer.
