A Melbourne-trained Australian Specialist Otolaryngologist, Ear Nose & Throat, Head & Neck Surgeon currently undertaking subspecialty Fellowship training in Paediatric Otolaryngology in Australia. Eric has completed a Head and Neck Surgery, Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship in Canada. He trained at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia under Prof S. Mark Taylor, President of The Canadian Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery and The Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Eric has special interests in Paediatric Airway Surgery, Paediatric Head & Neck conditions, Adult Head & Neck Cancer, Transoral Laser Microsurgery, Rhinoplasty, Nasal and Facial Reconstruction. He also gets excited about Clinical Leadership, Surgical Education and Global Surgery.
Eric completed his undergraduate Science degree (with a major in Psychology) and postgraduate Medical degree through The University of Melbourne. He was awarded Postgraduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy and Master of Public Health & Tropical Medicine during his residency. His Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Training was completed under the supervision of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and The Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery through various major tertiary referral hospitals in Melbourne, Australia (Alfred Health, Royal Children's Hospital, Monash Health, Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Austin Health, St.Vincent's Health). While doing his Fellowship in Canada he also completed a Social Media Residency Program at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, Florida.
