This course looks at the development of both the individual's and their clinical teams' leadership capabilities. It is practical, and focuses on what surgeons can do to be effective in their daily clinical practice. It concentrates on leadership styles, emotional intelligence, values and communication, and how these all influence their capacity to lead others to achieve the best patient outcomes.
